The boats parked near the Balesin Clubhouse, ready to take you for a ride. Let's go...
For a swim, a walk, sightseeing, there's so much fun things to do. Not for me, I am only here for a few hours and took the chance to take lots of pictures to share with you, the beauty of a paradise.
Inviting seaside...
Balesin Island sounds foreign to my ears or maybe a bit on the downside. This is the first I've heard such island in the Philippines. I know from my geography class that the beautiful country, the Philippines, is composed of more than 7000 island. It shouldn't be a surprise to hear such name.
However, upon learning about this island, had kind of made me wonder why it is undiscovered by the growing tourism in the Philippines. My friend who invited me described the island as a world class beach destination. Last Sunday of December, year 2013, I had the privilege to be invited by a friend to represent him for a commitment for the Simbang Gabi masses at Balesin Island.
I did not know much about the place. According to him, it’s a world class beach resort destination available exclusively to members only and is located at the western coast of Luzon, probably about 21 kilometers from Polilio, Quezon. One needs to be airlifted in order to reach this paradise by invitation only.
White sand everywhere....
The island has seven beach resort villages modeled from top global beach holiday destination namely: Balesin of the tropical Philippines; Bali of Indonesia; Phuket of Thailand, Costa del Mar of Spain; St. Tropez of France, Toscana of Italy and Mykonos of Greece. Each village features a restaurant that carries famous food from appetizers to desserts in their menus identified to the seven aforementioned countries.
Going to this island is like having a trip to seven different holiday destinations of which four are European. Indeed a paradise to experience but reserved only for a few who are exclusive members of the club.

Peace, love, joy and tranquility be upon you, my friend.
The photos taken on Balesin featured four resorts of the island, namely: Balesin, Bali, Costa del Sol and partly Mykonos. Most of the photos taken of "Balesin Island" , pictures on Mykonos were featured plus those taken in Toscana, St. Tropez and Phuket. A few of the photos taken features the the area where the mass celebration happen, at the island's chapel.
At the private hangar of Alphaland at the Manila Airport, Vic had introduced me to the pilot who would eventually fly me to Balesin Island. From NAIA, the smooth flight took us about thirty minutes in a nine-seater Cessna Grand Caravan plane at that rather cloudy morning. That flight to me was a very special one as I was the only passenger of the pilot and his assistant who bring all the time vacationing members to this country’s probably most luxurious beach destination.
