Our recent travel was not visiting the Philippines; but met many wonderful people
who live in the Philippines and work on the cruise ship we were on. It was great! Now I am getting ready to leave Canada for India. I
travelled there in 2012 and 2013 for a surgery which I could not get in Canada. I met many wonderful friends there and GOD has blessed me again to be able to return. I am going to be there more than 2 months.

It is interesting to know that there are millions of
Catholics in the south where I stayed and the city is called Chennai (formerly
Madras). In 2012, I found out on the
internet that St. Thomas, Jesus' doubting apostle, is buried there in a tomb
under the St. Thomas Cathedral. After
Mass one morning, I visited the tomb and it was so touching and emotional, I could hardly breathe. Last year for Mass, I went to St. Anthony's
Shrine.
The Mass had already began when I got there and there is
about 100 steps or more to go up into the Church where the Mass was being
celebrated, so I visited the chapel on the lower level where they have Mass
during the week. I met many wonderful
people while there. I am sooo blessed.
Here are a couple of pictures of my friends from the
Philippines who worked on the cruise ship.
