Lisbon offers many tourist attractions. The beautiful capital of Portugal captures the wonderful athitektura, narrow streets and vintage trams. A Cidade das Sete Colinas (the city of seven hills) as he is known, has another attraction which few know.
Santa Justa lift. The only so-called vertical lift in the city that is functional (they say about him Lisaboncite) is named after Santa Justa, historical part of Lisbon. He connects several streets in Baixa with the Largo do Carmo, and the kontrukcijata and commissioning in 1902-the year is one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.
Santa Justa elevator is in neo-Gothic style, built from wood, cement, iron and glass. Designed by Raul Mesnier du Ponsard, an architect and civil engineer who was a student of Gustav Eiffel. Lifot high and 45 meters in the summer is open to visitors from 7 am to 11 at night. At the top of the elevator has a kiosk where you can buy souvenirs, and opportunity for sightseeing in this part of Lisbon.
